Culburra Beach is a small coastal village in the Shoalhaven on the South Coast of NSW less than two and a half hours from Sydney and Canberra.
Surrounded by water on three sides, it abounds in unspoilt natural beauty and is one of the South Coast’s most beautiful holiday destinations, shhh. And, as it turns out, the perfect place for a festival!
Several years ago a small team of local volunteers banded together as the Love Culburra Beach Festival committee, a non-profit incorporated association dedicated to celebrating the area and delivering a weekend of music, art, culture and, above all, fun to both the local community and visitors alike.
In 2016, a new Festival board and organising committee of local residents, artists, musicians, surfers and business people was established and with our communities support will run and host the Culburra Beach Festival as a non-profit creative celebration event. We rely heavily on the support and participation of the local community, local partners and supporters, thanks to their combined efforts, the Festival is going from strength to strength and is back in 2018.
The 2018 Festival is shaping up to be the best yet. It’s happening May 11–13, coinciding with Mother’s Day. Everything is free except for the Friday and Saturday night music gigs which are jam packed with the best of local and touring acts, so get your tickets – available on www.southcoasttickets.com.au
Come and explore beautiful Culburra Beach, bring the family, treat Mum to a weekend she won’t forget, and enjoy all – what we call Burradise – has to offer.
Run to Burradise!
